About QRStatic
QRStatic exists because of a specific, annoying pattern: "free" QR generators that quietly make dynamic codes, then switch them off when a trial ends and hold your printed posters for ransom. We think a QR code printed on a menu, a book or a headstone should behave like ink — permanent, boring, yours.
So this site does one thing. It turns your link, Wi-Fi login, contact card, email or text message into a static QR code, drawn entirely in your browser with QR encoding code bundled into the page (an MIT-licensed encoder by Kazuhiko Arase, vendored locally — no QR API, no CDN, no server call). Your data never leaves your device, which you can confirm by switching off your connection and watching it still work.
The trade-offs are stated plainly: static codes can't be edited after printing and can't count scans. When you genuinely need those, a dynamic service is the right tool — our comparison page says so. For everything permanent, static is simply the correct default, and here it's free with no limits.
QRStatic is part of a small family of free tools built by Jimmy | ORBITFRAME — see the footer for the others. A Pro tier ($9/mo) is planned for bulk generation and brand kits; it will never gate the basic promise of this page.
